Dr. Jessica Bechler

As a Naturopathic Doctor with a Master’s in Integrative Mental Healthcare, I’m passionate about bringing well-rounded healthcare to my patients. I want to take the time to get to know you, your history physically, mental/emotionally, and your life in general. I believe all layers are connected and deserve careful time and attention. What makes my practice unique, is that I can wear the hat of a primary care physician, counselor, and body worker providing a multidisciplinary approach.

I treat things like: fatigue, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, ADHD, PTSD, cPTSD, rumination, digestive issues, stress, relationship challenges, chronic pain, hormonal balance and more.

I’ve met a lot of patients who have done years of talk therapy with no relief, or who have had chronic pain and depression untouched by conventional methods. As a naturopath trained in somatic counseling and hands-on body work, I offer an alternative approach on many levels.

Each patient inspires me, and I believe healing and transformation is possible for all. I love what I do more than words can describe and become invested in my patients for the long run.

As someone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ myself I’m passionate about providing affirming care to all gender identities, sexualities, body presentations, and relationship styles. I believe in providing accessibility to healthcare as well as a harm reduction strategies. I provide weight neutral, body positive, sex positive, and gender affirming care.

I value relationships greatly and have a relationship forward style in my practice that builds trust and safety first. I use a trauma informed approach in each step of the process, and believe this is foundational to being able to combine naturopathic medicine, counseling, and body work. I also love to learn and I love to teach so it's easy to get me to nerd out with you when there's something more you want to understand. If I don't know the answer, I will seek it out or find someone who does.

In my free time you'll find me in the garden, with friends at a picnic in the park, walking through the depths of the rain forest, or wiggling in my joy through dance and music.
